Piazza single and double post top were utilized to light up the precinct perimeter and roadways. Two special Shuttles with red lenses were used to light up the main sculpture feature at the RED Radisson Hotel entrance. Bespoke asymmetric soffit mounted downlights were used to highlight the columns. These were made by housing the Elux downlight in a special soffit-mounted housing to allow the columns to be highlighted.
Extensive lighting designs were done using photometric files of all the lights supplied, to ensure the correct light levels were achieved. These files are developed in Regent’s light testing laboratories. The exterior lights were successfully designed and installed to achieve the results the designers envisaged.
