SANDTON GATE
JOHANNESBURG | GAUTENG
CKR Electrical Engineers and Boogertman and Partners Architects, approached Regent to develop a special street light and bollard for the roadways of this new prestigious mixed-use precinct development. Working with these consultants, Regent’s industrial design department developed a variation of our Piazza post top and bollard. The logo of the development was incorporated into the Poles and pedestrian bollards. Our Piazza bollard was also supplied to light up the roadways. Regent’s design department, in conjunction with CKR, optimized the layout of the poles and bollards to ensure the light levels met regulations.
In addition, after numerous nighttime mock-up sessions with CKR, WAM electrical contractors and the sculptor, the Regent Kevo accent light was chosen to light up the main central sculpture at the entrance to the development.
The Regent Kevo was also used to light up the shrubs and trees in the gardens.
RLS worked with Boogertman and Partners Architects, CKR Electrical Engineers and WAM Electrical Contractors on this project.
