In 2021 Growthpoint Properties launched the development of a new upmarket hotel and precinct on one of the most iconic roads in Cape Town, Kloof Street.
Precinct Area: Beam doubles to highlight the columns, Kevo accent lights for all the planters and tree illumination. All the fittings were supplied in 3000K to give a warm look and feel. Malta bollards 10.6W 3000K were also placed strategically in the planters.
Courtyard Area: With Table Mountain and Signal Hill as the backdrop, RLS was tasked with providing a lighting solution that would highlight this area. The Silver Urban Light Element was chosen in different lengths, and the Vala 1200mm and Malta wall light were used to highlight the brickwork. Concrete benches were illuminated with our Linear LED Cove 12.2W 3000K, giving the impression of the benches floating. The Acer wall light was used to illuminate the pathways and stairways.
