AngloGold Ashanti recently took occupation of their prestigious new offices in Rosebank. RLS was entrusted to manufacture and supply the lighting for this project.
RECEPTION: The reception area provides a prelude to the distinctive design which is featured throughout the rest of the 3 floors of office space. The Kibo 75 9W was supplied to provide downward illumination and the Linear LED Cove 8W/m was supplied to create a crisp clean light line as well as indirect lighting.
PAUSE AREAS: Mini Linear 50 surface and suspended, and Canolux 80 was supplied.

EXECUTIVE BOARDROOM: The unique wall feature is highlighted with an LED COB Flex strip creating a stunning, uniform and continuous light line. In addition, the functional lighting is provided by the Kibo 75 downlight and the Linear Mini 50.
BOARDROOMS: The look and feel of clean distinct lines is maintained in the boardrooms and is highlighted by the black Linear Mini 50 recessed into the white ceiling. The Kibo 75 downlight is also used to illuminate the perimeter of the rooms. An average of 700 lux was achieved over the boardroom tables.
OPEN PLAN OFFICE AREA: The Luxon Prism Backlit 600x600 36W was supplied to achieve uniform illumination at an average of 500 lux and a glare ratio of <19 which is critically important for office environments.
PASSAGES: A combination of Luxon Prism 600X600 36W and Linear LED Cove was used to provide lighting for the passages.
ABLUTION AREAS: Keeping with the theme of clean uniform lighting the Linear Mini 50 was used to illuminate the ablution areas.
