MARSH ALICE LANE
SANDTON | GAUTENG
RLS provided a lighting solution to the Marsh project at Alice Lane, Johannesburg - an international client with exceptionally high standards and a strong focus on quality, design, and performance. The brief called for a bespoke and unique lighting solution that would complement a refined corporate interior while delivering visual comfort, functionality, and energy efficiency. Bespoke Dega luminaires were supplied for the boardrooms, offering a clean, contemporary finish suited to high-level executive spaces. In the open-plan areas, bespoke Linear luminaires in rectangular configurations were designed and manufactured to enhance the architectural rhythm and spatial flow of the workplace. The highlight of this project was our Sky 600 mm and 950 mm pendants wrapped in acoustic material, which became the visual focal point of the interior. These fittings not only added a strong design statement but also contributed to improved acoustic performance - an essential element in modern office environments. To support energy efficiency and sustainability, the Luxon 600 × 600 LED panels were fitted with motion sensors and installed throughout selected areas, ensuring optimal illumination while significantly reducing energy consumption.
