Construction of offices and parking was recently completed and successfully handed over to the Western Cape Government. The mission of Government Motor Transport is to provide quality, integrated and cost-effective motor transport to provincial and national client departments. Working with Zutari Electrical Engineers and Borman Electrical RLS designed and supplied all the lighting for the project. The Signa Mellow recessed white 42W 4000K luminaire was used in all the office spaces.
Elux 70 was installed in all the passage areas and the Solo Eyelid bulkhead charcoal grey was used in all the escape staircases. The 950mm Sky Pendant was installed in the double volume areas with the Miso wall mounted 250mm charcoal grey at all the entrance foyers, creating a balance of general lighting and walkway lighting. The Shuttle double wall mounted 2 x 31º was used on the façade of the building and Linear Mini surface mounted 852mm white on the external covered walkways.
