The requirement from DSV Head Office for all light fixtures to be DALI controlled at their new facility in Kempton Park provided a unique challenge due the sheer size of the grounds coupled with typical DALI limitations. Ultimately a decision was made to either use digital communication over mains or a form of wireless control. RLS was able to provide a Bluetooth Mesh lighting control system which meets all necessary control requirements such as automated time-based scheduling as well as manual overrides. Further to this the exterior lighting system is also capable of communicating to the BMS to provide diagnostic data, energy usage and current statuses.
