Bridge City Shopping Centre

The Bridge City Shopping Centre forms part of the new visionary 650 000m² Bridge City Town Centre. It is an area designated by the Durban Metro Planners as a major economic development node, bridging the communities of Phoenix, Inanda, Ntuzuma and KwaMashu (INK) and linking them into the urban system. The centre has been successfully trading since opening in September 2009 with a strong tenant mix of national, franchise and regional tenants representing a wide variety of fashion, banking, fast food, furniture and speciality outlets. It will be a catalyst for economic growth and the empowerment of surrounding communities by improving their access to public transport and opportunities to work, travel, shop and do business within the INK area, via a symbiotic relationship between the public and private sectors.
