RLS manufactured various specialised lighting products for the Telkom Mobile Stores:
- A cylindrical pendant light suspended from the ceiling. The pendant has a 1200mm outer ring and a 1100mm inner ring fabricated from 3mm non-reflective UHI. LED RGB ribbon is mounted in the apex of the pendant enabling a glowing effect. In the middle of the pendant is an LED spot which is locked on Magenta to highlight the “special” products in the store. The controller for the RGB allows for colour changing or locking on a particular colour.
- The suspended light panels are made from standard EPS encased in polyurea and foundry grade silica. These panels are reinforced internally with aluminium rods. 3mm cables extend out the top of the panels as attachment points which create a “floating ceiling“ effect. There are 3 recessed fittings placed into the panels with 1 x 39W electronic gear per lamp. Some of the panels were supplied with emergency gear.
- The interactive wall units has 20m RGB colour-changing ribbon with linear strips positioned at the base and top of the unit complete with controller and remote.
- For the consulting booths we manufactured and supplied special recessed luminaires with 1 x 39W T5 lamps and control gear.
