This was achieved to the levels required using the Tauris Pro 2 floodlight. Subsequently, due to a new requirement for television broadcasts from the centre, additional Holda Pro fittings have been installed above the pool. Access to these lights is gained via the inverted structural roof trusses. The Nasa was used over the grandstand areas. The Solo and Giza Plateau bulkheads were used on the exterior of the centre. Kevo mini spotlights were used to accent certain exterior features of the building. The Linear Mini, Jura track spotlights, and Canolux surface-mounted downlights were used in the passages and change rooms. The ceiling is off-shutter concrete so all the lights had to be surface mounted. The centre's power supply is backed up with inverters so light efficiency was critical and due to television and spectator viewing requirements, glare had to be kept to a minimum. By all accounts this has been a successful project and the parameters have been met.
