DELOITTE HQ INTERIOR

Deloitte HQ a prominent site between the Mall of Africa and the N1 highway.

We were asked by Claassen Auret Consulting Engineers to tender on the supply of the interior and exterior lighting for the Deloitte HQ in Waterfall City, Midrand.

The majority of the tender was awarded to Regent Lighting Solutions.

 

ATRIUM & RECEPTION:

RLS supplied and installed 1.4 km of  Linear Arc 27 LED lighting in the recess formed in the plastered ceiling of all the atrium areas.

This required extensive measurement on site by our design department for a perfect fit, as no tolerance was allowed.

 

OFFICES:

The brief was to supply Regent's Luxon Prism 600x600 UGR<19 low glare in the general office areas.

With Deloitte opting to go with a LEED certification, energy control and lux levels were critical. All lighting had to be controlled in some form, either through daylight harvesting, motion control or manual override.

AUDITORIUMS, BOARDROOMS, CORRIDORS & GENERAL AREAS:

Regent Linear Mini 50, Luxon Prism 600x600 and Jura track spotlight system was supplied in the auditorium, boardrooms, corridors and general areas.

Once the lighting was installed, the Regent technical team had to commission and test all light fittings and sensors to make sure that the lux levels set out by the stringent LEED standard was met.
