We were approached to supply large pendants to fill a 6 storey high internal atrium in one of the Investec Properties buildings.

There were some proposals shown to us initially, which we believed were not feasible for RLS to manufacture. We therefore suggested a series of rings that would be lit with dimmable LEDS – essentially large versions of our Vista Range, but made in aluminium not acrylic and with no diffuser. Due to the size and the fact that that the whole system would be  installed and suspended on cables over an occupied atrium and therefore without the use of scaffolding, the project turned out to be very demanding and we had to involve a structural engineer. Due to the complexity we also installed the pendants – something we seldom do.

The architects were Paragon.
