ADENDORFF MACHINERY MART

JOHANNESBURG | GAUTENG

Adendorff Machinery Mart is a leader in the retail and selling of tools and machinery. We were approached by Rawlins Wales to do a light design and supply a lighting solution for this project.

Exterior:
The Argo post top was installed in the carpark and on the perimeter, and the Apollo II bollard was used to light up the gardens and pedestrian walkways. The Solo bulkhead and the Vala were installed to highlight areas of the façade and signs. The Istria wall-mounted floodlight was installed on the exterior of the warehouse.

Interior:
The offices are lit with Luxon Prism panel lights with UGR <19 and Luxon Pro downlights. Linear 17 x 15 lights were used to highlight specific areas. The Holda Pro highbay lights, with asymmetrical distribution were installed in the racking areas and with symmetrical distribution light in the open areas of the warehouse. The Nasa and Nimbus fittings were installed in the lower ceiling areas.

Battery packs were supplied with all the interior lights, both warehouse and offices, for the building to comply with building regulations. Occupancy sensors were also supplied by Regent, throughout the building.
