The Firs

We were approached by Boogertman and Partners and Pamboukian LightDesign to supply a lighting solution to The Firs internal mall and the open-air piazza area. This Mall upgrade was a “follow on” to the basement parking area upgrade which also includes a new, wide entrance staircase coming up from the basement parking directly into the mall.
EXTERIOR PIAZZA AREA:
Shuttle wall mounted 2 x 17W lights, shining up and down, were used to highlight the pergola and entrance walls. The Giza Focus 7W bulkhead was used to light the walkways.

THE MALL AREA:
RLS supplied the Linear 17x15 strip lights, 22W/m to provide ambient lighting and replace the irregular light output from the existing cove lights. Linear Mini 3m long pendants were also supplied for the mall area. Various diameter Arc 27 Exo Pendants were supplied to hang in the mall and above the stairs coming up from the basement parking. Luxon Round and Elux 115 downlighters were used to highlight certain areas.

Investec Properties, the owner of the mall gave very positive feedback as to the success of the project.
