Considered a flagship project, demonstrating the functionality and beauty of our new Linear Maxi with double LED. The key focus here was to achieve the University's required high lux level of 500 lumens inside the lecture theatres. We managed to achieve this, and more, by using LED technology which brings with it all the advantages of an LED installation.
The system was designed using Dali dimmable control gear to allow for the flexibility needed to operate as a professional lecture theatre.
In the foyer and the corridors we utilised our Linear continuous fittings with a single row of T5 fluorescent; this is due to the fact that the lux levels required were not as high. Even though these are two different products with completely different lamp configurations, they read as one family and contribute to the simplicity and uniformity of the project.
The latter is one of the key aspects we focus on when developing new products.
