Roche Diagnostics is a global pioneer in pharmaceuticals and diagnostics focused on advancing science to improve people’s lives. Roche has entered into a long-term lease in the Brackengate 2 Business Park jointly developed by Redefine Properties and VDMV Property Group in Cape Town.  Achieving a Green Star rating was high on the priority list and the Regent designers had to get creative to make sure we achieved all the Green Start requirements yet stayed within budget.

INTERIOR:
With a big open double foyer space, the designer wanted a clean and modern pendant to hang in a cluster to fill the space. These cylindrical pendants are very basic in design with a single downlight at the bottom but what makes them so special is no doubt the creative suspension cable configuration. Another great example of how one can take the ordinary and turn it into something very special without breaking the budget.

EXTERIOR:

We mounted the Istria floodlight on the exterior of the buildings and the Modra Post Top was used in the open parking areas for general lighting. Under the Shade cloth parking we utilized the Nimbus vapour proof fittings to not only light the parking bays but also the surrounding roads.
